Victorian high country property listed for sale: CBRE

Ancona Station is expected to sell for over $7 million.

Ancona Station, a 1,314-acre property in Victoria’s high country, has been listed by a farming family after 40 years.

Situated approximately 160 kilometers from Melbourne, between Lake Eildon/Mansfield and the Victorian capital, the property is anticipated to fetch over $7 million.

It currently supports 400 breeding cows and possesses licenses for both stock and domestic water, along with 36 catchment stock dams.

On-site amenities feature a four-bedroom homestead, a separate manager’s residence, machinery sheds, sheep and cattle yards, and shearing facilities.

The sale is being managed by CBRE Agribusiness’s Matt Childs through an Expression of Interest campaign scheduled to close on April 24th.

Mr. Childs emphasized the property’s significance in showcasing the region’s natural beauty and agricultural potential, highlighting its scale, location, and infrastructure as attractive to graziers seeking expansion opportunities and capitalizing on the area’s higher rainfall.
